Suffocation

In collaboration, Vs. Magazine and Crystal Castles present the first ever fashion shoot featuring singer Alice Glass, shot on the grounds of an abandoned mansion in NYC.

The short is directed by Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles and set to their song Suffocation.

[Sidenote:  I was on set for a commercial shoot at Alder Mansion in Yonkers last week and the whole mansion has an eerie, abandoned vibe but only a few crew members mentioned having ‘the creeps’ during the shoot which took two days (I was only there for one).  I personally didn’t feel any evil or malicious spirits in the house but in the bedrooms adjacent to the pool room (which I kept being drawn into without knowing why) there was a bathroom open to the crew that gave me the feeling not to venture into.  Other visitors to the mansion have reported encounters with a baby or little girl in that bathroom.  But further research proved there was no foul play in the house, it was simply handed over from owner to owner until it was finally abandoned after the original owners died.  It’s ownership has been taken over by an Irish foundation that plans on renovating it.  More images of Alder Mansion]
